Tierra Turf specializes in all your Sod and Turf needs. We have an experienced staff that will assist you in choosing the sod that best fits your needs. We have many different varieties of grass to choose from. Our most common variety is St. Augustine Floratam. Floratam is the variety most commonly used in residential developments and commercial sites. We also have St. Augustine Palmetto, Zoysia, Bermuda and Bahia.

Floratam
St. Augustine was introduced in 1973 and has become the most popular grass used among Floridians.

Palmetto
Palmetto exhibits dense growth patterns, rapid growth rates, good color retention and disease resistance with few problems. Palmetto is often used in shady areas.

Bremuda
Bermuda grass is most commonly used on athletic playing fields.

Bahia
Bahia grass is most commonly used on road-sides and other commercial industry. Bahia presents a rugged grass that spreads nicely.

The Tierra Turf team has a very extensive background in Construction Management and have completed many local jobs throughout the area. These jobs have ranged from $10,000.00 up to $4,000,000.00 for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Florida Water Management, and Local Government entities. No job is too large or too small.
